PROBABLY, Grizzly01 (D-891), Grizzly50 (D-661). Both taken from SBS. When inbound Gilze, Grizzly50 was consisting of 2 Chinook helicopters...

D-891 and D-661 were the two Chinooks involved in the exercise Urban Stoter today, to conquer the TV-tower near Smilde.
First they dropped off soldiers, then both returned with an underlsung MB and then another MB under the D-661 with D-891 'flying cover'.
Both numbers read with photoproof!

While I was making pictures of the Chinooks near the TV-tower, I saw a RC-135 crossing overhead around 12:21lt (according my camera).
Does somebody have more info about this aircraft? (callsign, registration)

TIA,
Bert.

Hello, just overhead (14:20)breukelen 2 police helo's in formation a ec135 and the aw139sp.
Does anybody know the reason why maybe a photo flight?
I've seen them last week flying in formation too (overhead Maarssen), i don't think it has anything to do with police business.

These helicopters are not military, so maybe you'll have better luck in the dedicated civil sistertopic "Wie wat waar vliegt daar - 2013 CIV".

Good luck,

I agree, but they are not civil either more like government but thats not a topic and cops wear guns so thats why i posted it in the military section..... :?
Like the coast guard you often see in this section they also have a PH-... number.

Given the nature of the wie wat waar topics, I have never understood (contrary to the "normal" topics in the spotterforums) why these are divided in CIV and MIL.

For the record, around 15:40h a Dutch short C-130 flew low alongside the coast to the south, near Scheveningen. Believe it made a turn around the Nieuwe Maasvlakte.
