Never expercienced a mis-tieup with the AB-412's in the last 20 years.... But R-01 was visually confirmed overhead my workplace as Gannet01; so the NAFR03 was definately the R-03
(they departed shortly after eachother & the R-02 is not at Leeuwarden at the moment (departed 24 Feb for maintenance).

One of the Hornets had a HavLLv21 badge on the nose (a bird). Althought not sure if it actually belongs to that wing of course...

On Saterday morning all 6 Spanish EF2000s were outside, all standing next to each other, but the view might have been blocked by a building, earth wall or trees.

Identified as well where the German Typhoons 30+62/72/75/89/90/97 and 31+01, plus the serial of 30+83 partially read, but good enough for identification.
Only noted were the 5 Finnish F-18s, none read off.
A problem are the Norwegian F-16s in a way. Noted from a spot that should have been no. 5 on the Scramble airfield guide for Leeuwarden were the F-16s as follows, from left to right:
3x RDAF
5x FAP
5x FAB
7x (RNoAF) incl. 1 tiger (= 671)

And here I have a question:
Was the eight’s RNoAF F-16 in fact missing, or has the slightly different and darker fin of the 2nd tiger (664) made ‘invisible’, or just harder to see?

Has anybody out there last weekend got a better clue for the RNoAF F-16s, please?

Hello Martin,

I have made the same conclusion as you did. Thing was the hazy condition as it has been all week. I spoke to a German spotter on Saturday morning who confirmed there were 8 Norwegians outside. He was able to see all of them from the other side. There is a crashgate which provides an overview of the same line of F-16s, but then from the other side. No new Norwegians for me, so I didn't bother.

The German spotter you talk about was me (most likely ;o)

We saw 8 F-16s left of the FAB ones together in this case (3x RDAF, 5x FAP), then 5x FAB, and seemingly only 7x RNoAF.
I had seen 8 F-16s also left of the FAB ones from the opposite side of the base earlier (Tsjessingavei), coming to the wrong conclusion that they must have been the Norwegians. Later, with better light, I recognised my mistake. Due to the angle also from the other side the RDAF and FAP F-16s showed up left of the Belgians, and only few of the RNoAF F-16s were visible from that spot .
