Hi,
I recently spent a very interesting day at Fort Lauderdale. Here are some of the highlights.
I spent most of the first hour of my visit sheltering from a very heavy downpour - A Southwest 737 is somewhere in this shot:

Once the weather improved, I was entertained by a number of Canadian 737s including Sunwing's C-FRZJ:-

The highlight of the Canadian traffic was provided by Canadian North's C-GCNZ:-

More interesting non American traffic was provided by Avianca A320 N454AV:-

And Bahamasair 737-500 C6-BFE:-

There was plenty of US based airlines as well, with Southwest 737s always coming and going;-

Delta were busy too:-

And there was never long to wait for a Spirit Airbus either:-

Some of the more interesting US traffic were Alaska Airlines:-

And Frontier's attractively painted A.319 N921FR:-

It wasn't all airline traffic though, as the airport featured a large number of biz jets and aircraft such as Cessna 208 N188SF

I hope the photos are of interest - some more can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho

Neil
