Little Russia Moscow tour
From may 06 till may 10 we went to Moscow and some airfields in the vicinity. On behalf of 4Aviation this was a recce mission. To research the photographic possibilities during the annual Victory aerial parade in Moscow centre and at airbases near Moscow. We were not disappointed so a trip will be organised by 4Aviation in 2015 when the russians celebrate their 70th victory over Nazi occupation. The only setback was that Ryazan did'nt fly on may 08, a day before victory day.

December 2024 updates at FokkerNews.nl....
Re: Little Russia Moscow tour
Luckily it's not, because otherwise you would have been travelling further to the east, instead of west after taking this pictureberrygood wrote: The cold war is back!
Mind blowing pics!

Re: Little Russia Moscow tour
Wow, very nice! A good way to see quiet a lot of the Russian inventory in a few days!
All from outside? No problem with authorities or informed in front?

Re: Little Russia Moscow tour
All taken from outside. No problems. At Kubinka there are a lot of Russian aviation enthousiasts and photographers. Near the other bases no one really cared about our presence.

Engine #1 trouble on that RF-90785
Really love those IL18-IL22 shots
What's the reason, a lot of these AF aircraft have civil RF-registrations nowadays

Re: Little Russia Moscow tour
Funny post Bennie RF = military! But the RF-number doesn't need to be unique....
