Re: P3 ORION TOPIC
Thanks Pelican for showing and sending me the photos!
This is the first time I see photos of this event.
By the way: there were 3 C-130's from Ramstein in the formation: 69-6566/RS, 70-1274 plus one other. Does anyone know which one was number three?
Cheers, Rob

Re: P3 ORION TOPIC
Nice Portuguese P-3s, JohnB and Erwin, but somehow your photos hurt.
Some more then:
The Dragons of VP-56 landing at Valkenburg, October 1984.
Spanish P-3s were rarely seen at Valkenburg, but in September 1989 two Orions were based here for a whole week.
The Pelicans of VP-45 in August 1983. Valkenburg, runway 06.

Re: P3 ORION TOPIC
@Catbird. Amazing! Those west coast P-3s looked much better than most east coast P-3s. The future Catbird 150515 is interesting, but I like the LS-Orion at Valkenburg the most: I'd never seen a photo of an LS-P-3 at EHVB.

Rob, Frank
According P3 Research Group aircraft was reported VP60/LS-5 18 aug 1975. That must have been the date it was seen at Valkenburg.
Cheers,
Ranger
