Hello,

We would like to invite you to a Spotters day on 20 May 2015 during an exercise THPU (Tactical Helicopter Procedures Update) on the Airbase Beauvechain.

Beside a static show with participants from Belgium (A109BA, NH90TTH, NH90NFH), France (Gazelle, EC120, Puma), Czechia (MI17, MI24), UK (Puma Mk2), Holland (Al III) en Germany (UH1 D), you will be able to spot departures and landings of all participants on their daily missions. Finally you will have the opportunity to enjoy a demonstration NH90TTH with hoisting, underslung loads, fast roping technique,… This demo shows the capacities of the helicopter and fits into finalization of the first operational testing and evaluation phase, which certifies the NH90TTH of the 18Sqn - 1Wing as “Initial Operational Capable”.

Charge: 15€ (entry, Badge THPU, poster “4 ship formation” NH90TTH, 01 beverage and the program of the day)

Naast een static show met deelnemers uit België (A109BA, NH90TTH, NH90NFH), Frankrijk (Gazelle, EC120, Puma), Tsjechië(MI17, MI24), UK (Puma Mk2), Nederland (Al III) en Duitsland (UH1 D) kan u ook genieten van het vertrek en de terugkomst van alle toestellen die deelnemen aan de THPU oefening U krijgt daarenboven de gelegenheid om te genieten van een demonstratie NH90TTH met “hoisting, underslung loads, fast roping technique,…. Deze demo toont de capaciteiten van de helikopter en past in het finaliseren van de eerste operationele test- en evaluatiefase die de NH90TTH van het 18 Smd – 1Wing “Initial operation capable” verklaart.

Par le présent, je vous invite à participer à notre journée Spotter qui aura lieu le 20 Mai 15 sur la Base de Beauvechain dans le cadre de l’exercice THPU.

En plus du static show avec les participants de Belgique (A109BA, NH90TTH, NH90NFH), de France (Gazelle, EC120, Puma), de Tchéquie (MI17, MI24), UK (Puma Mk2), Hollande (Al III) et Allemagne (UH1 D), vous aurez l’occasion d’assister au départ et au retour des appareils participant à l’exercice THPU. Vous aurez également l’opportunité d’assister à une démonstration du NH90TTH avec hoisting, underslung loads, fast roping technique,…. Cette démo vous montrera les capacités de cet hélicoptère et cadre dans la finalisation de la première phase de test et d’évaluation opérationnelle visant à déclarer le 18 Sqn du 1Wing comme “Initial operation capable”

Did anyone find out RECENT information about at what time you have to present yourself at the gate? And, which gate? As I understand, there's been some changes lately.
