FF15 Runway 27 fields are off limits

Got a message from base security/safety officer that this year photographing FF15 participants on runway 27/23 from outside the fence will NOT be allowed, you will be send away by Military Police. The small part of grass between the fence and the ditch is military property and is of limits.
Also a part of the small road leading to the QRA shelters and runway 27 is now part of the farmerfields and that farmer has very expensive Frisian black horses in that field and is far from spotter friendly, he will call local police immediately when he sees you crossing that field!!

So when 23 is in use stay on the road sides and don't go in any of the fields!!

Another missed oppertunity by the base(security)......
Why not allow it and safe everybody a lot of trouble and let a small group of enthusiasts have a good time!?
No harm can be done by taking pictures at that small strip of grass at the fence....

Maybe "een schone taak" for AGL......

In principe ben je al in overtreding wanneer je door het land van de boer gaat, maar de luchtmacht wil het dit jaar ook gewoon niet hebben, vooral na de chaos vorig jaar op sommige dagen met spotters/toeristen die maar voor de landing tussen de lichten gaan staan.
Ook de 27 is tijdens FF15 een operationele baan en men wil spotters daar gewoon niet hebben uit het oogpunt van veiligheid.
Dus kun je daar niet mee leven blijf dan gewoon thuis!!

'Uit het oogpunt van veiligheid' is helaas tegenwoordig een term die vaak (misbruikt) gebruikt wordt om veel voor elkaar te krijgen

Jammer dat het zo moet. Fotograferen aan 27 wanneer 23 in gebruik levert leuke plaatjes op.

Hoe zit het aan de 09 kant? Mag je daar wel langs het hek staan? Volgens mij loopt er een pad naar toe.

Vorig jaar wel, geen idee hoe dat dit jaar is, aangezien je daar niet voor een baan staat, maar aangezien de zon eigenlijk pas vanaf 2 uur een beetje redelijk op die rolbaan staat heeft dat als ze 05 vliegen niet zoveel zin of je moet van strijklicht houden. Bij terugkomst van de middagwave als ze 23 vliegen is deze stek wel een optie, maar ja dan mis je wel de rest van de wave die naar Zuid gaat.

Red areas are off limits, all in front of the runways.
Point 1/2: stay near the road N357 (or on the old railroad track like some people like to do)
point 4: Spottershill and fields west of the hill are accessible, but NOT in front of runway 05. Also don't go in the fields east of the spottershill towards the tower, farmers won't appreciate this
point 5: unclear if it will be allowed to go to fence near the crashgate
When parking your car, do not park in front of crashgates near spottershill and point 5 runway 09

Thanks for the information! One more question if I may. Does all this only apply to Frisian Flag or for the entire period that the Eagles are at Leeuwarden?

This applies for ever as you are not allowed to walk/stay in front of the runways!

Ok, so we should not take it too seriously because I have stayed in many of the red spots without any problems !
