But I heard that C-17 already in, is not leaving today. And also you'll get another C-17 in around 14.30, so he will block 1 runway for sure....

The C-17 will probably be moved to 27. So the runway would be cleared for the rest

Re: EHLW 31-03-2015 MIL
Any chance that they would go to Lakenheath?
Re: EHLW 31-03-2015 MIL
Lakenheath was first alternate for the eagles, but in that timeframe has winds 290/35kt. So I would guess (read guess!) Mildenhall is a better option, or even Prestwick (less winds). Time will tell.

Just heard that the Eagles will not reach Leeuwarden today and that they will probably divert to Lakenheath
I think the storm is a bit too much for the guys.

Re: EHLW 31-03-2015 MIL
Reach 560 (C-17A) inbound LWD?
Re: EHLW 31-03-2015 MIL
was filed voor Spangdahlem (RCH560)
Re: EHLW 31-03-2015 MIL
The Eagles might still be coming after all! Comms are picked up west of Scotland, stating destination is LWD.

Re: EHLW 31-03-2015 MIL
that was their original destination. But with winds upto 49knots, they will not land.....
