Regarding the F-16's in Jonathan's list: there are some double counts, caused undoubtedly by the moving around of airframes. For instance aircraft that departed from a shelter area on the 18th and after landing were included in the big line-up on the ramp. When doubles are detracted, so far the list plus additions contains 59 F-16's:

Obviously some sort of ferry service

There was also a burnt out F-4 fuselage on the fire section, close to the civil terminal.

NOTES/QUESTIONS:

17/06: There were at least two, possibly three unidentified Turkish Stars NF-5s in the hangar on the F-4 Ramp, one of which was undoubtedly 70-3032, which was towed out of here on 18/06. Anyone know the other two please?

18/06: I did not photograph all of the departing THK F-16s, as I was still in the AE building, talking to the AE Commander, when some left, so if anyone can add to my departure notes I would be grateful please?

19/06: An unidentified THK UH-1H flew in the morning, making a para-drop. Anyone know this one please?

• I also did not note the THK CN-235s and E-7s each time on the ramp, or the NATO E-3s, so if anyone can add anything to my notes from photographic evidence, I would be grateful please.

• All (bracketed) unit information is based on an aircraft with no badge, either operating in a flight of other marked aircraft, or from aircrew patches or helmet badges showing in the image.

• I have not listed when the visiting THK F-16s were parked on the ramp, unless I have taken images of them at that specific time, as some were operating from different/dual areas.

• If anyone has any additions/corrections based on photographic evidence, with regard to anything such as unit markings, I would be grateful to receive such, along with a copy of the image.
