Post by franslukassen »

Does anyone have more information about the visit of Indian AF SU30's and a IL76 at Coningsby in August this year? Thanks in advance!

Heard also a rumour that they are present in the second week of August and that they are participating during RIAT.

As RIAT is in mid July, I doubt the second week of August AND RIAT. Gap between those is simply too long. IF they come, (which until now I have to see any evidence other than people half listening to others at the fence/on the web talking about their wishes and making up their own self wished ideal event from that) it won't be for such a long period.

Source is one of the local spotters. He just replied to me: 16 July till 3rd August. Indian AF is invited to the RIAT (http://www.airtattoo.com/airshow/visiti ... st-updates).

'Invited' does not (yet) mean that 'they are participating' unless it is confirmed...

See Athens (LGAV) topic... The transports have arrived there... Perhaps the fighters went somewhere else (Tanagra)?????

Caption is wrong, as they are not for RIAT; Pictures are show with the link.
