Om ong. 1315 2x Hind over Barsingerhorn in de richting van Schagen, beiden camo exemplaren maar geen regis kunnen lezen.

Well, some feedback:
The first few participants in the flying didn't do much to me. I think most of what flew before the Sentry could be best described as filler acts, and start a display with all filler acts that you have doesn't help much for keeping the public's attention. Great though to see that all the in the program announced acts flew and even the as "reserve listed" advertised ones made it into the air. On the other hand though, was it ever seriously thought that the Lightning, Edge 540 and Apache would take up a complete hour together?
Was yesterday's weather really the best weather ever at a Texel Airshow, as the commentary wanted us to believe? Sorry, I've been to all of them since '89, and I can't remember to have felt such a chill crosswind into my face at any of those before. Didn't put off my jacket until the latter part of the afternoon (normally, it ends up in my backpack around 10 o'clock).
Mixed feelings about transport. Good to see that for the first time ever someone at TESO has had the bright idea to not stop sailing every 30 minutes after 3 o'clock (as was advertised in advance), but continue this for some time to help the airshow visitors returning to the other side more smoothly. (And while we are at that part of the island: Has anybody even considered to use the advertised offer from the restaurant at the harbour about a sole for 32 Euro?) Texeltours though was a nightmare as three years ago. In the morning they weren't completely ready to sell their wristbands when the ferry offloaded its first batch of visitors. (there was a queue at one side of their as a sellingpoint used van, then after some time someone showed up starting to sell from the other side at once.) About the returntrip, I wonder if it is really too difficult for them to understand that they will have their guests (or should I type business) at the airport side of their route, and hardly (if any) at the harbour? Why weren't the busses positioned at the airport at the end of the show? Something they can learn a lot about from RIAT or Luchtmachtdagen (Given that Luchtmachtdagen and Texel have people on board that have responsibilities at both makes that some experiences from one should be used at the other).

Vond het een mooie show met zoals altijd een goede organisatie. Het is toch geweldig dat zoiets allemaal op een grasveldje kan? Het weer was ook prima, geen jas nodig, korte broek en shirt.
