PLAAF joins exercise with RTAF

According Alert5 PLAAF will join RTAF in exercise Falcon Strike this year.
Source is an internal RTAF newsletter.

Last year november Chinese and Thai military were reported to be in talks about cooperative training.

Scheduled for Nov 16-26 at Korat RTAFB. As previously reported PLAAF will bring J-11s, reported to be 6. Plus IL-76 for support. RTAF will use 4-6 JAS-39 from 701 Sqn to participate.

According to RTAF PAO DEPT. NO FOREIGN MEDIA will be allowed to cover the event, only a few lucky local journalist will be allowed on base.
PLAAF decision is a BIG NO on the RTAF request to arrange a media event on that.

By the way KORAT has good spotting point from outside…
