Anatolianeagle.org is a website run by a commercial organisation who organizes accomodation in Konya and transportation to and from the airbase. If you don't want to arrange everything yourself this is an alternative. They have some contacts with the military
I received also an email from them stating that the 2016 participants are: Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Italy, RAF, Germany and NATO. Lets's see what is true.
Probably no Phabulous Phantoms anymore....

Re: Spotterdays Konya A.E.2016
So, does anyone have some information about :
A. If the exercise will actually go ahead (due to the current security situation in Turkey)?
B. What units / foreign participants are planning to show up?
There is an official website for the exercise (also in English), but it's not really well maintained and I can't find a clear answer to the above questions myself.
Anyone with more info??
Regards,
Paul

Any "new" news about Anatolian Eagle?
I read on FB about participation of the Netherlands and Italy. Except those two countries, also Pakistan and Saudi Arabia with Eurofighters or Tornados.
Can someone confirm this?

I've heard that Saudi Tornado's have been cancelled. Could someone confirm?

Does this mean that you do not trust your source?SquAdmin wrote:I've heard that Saudi Tornado's have been cancelled. Could someone confirm?

I didn't hear it directly from an official source, so caution is required.

Check. Last thing I heard is that they were preparing 6 Tornado's for participation. This info is over 2 months old though, so cannot validate the current status.SquAdmin wrote:I didn't hear it directly from an official source, so caution is required.
