We still might be in for a surprise. And lets'not forget folks, its a free show.

It's in the static list now but the KLU likes to bring 'surprises', i wouldn't be surprised if we see a F35 fly at the open days.

The program is really nice so far, looking forward to the show!

The site from the dutch airforce days confirmed already a long time ago that the F35 will be on static, someone said that there will be 2 ospreys at leeuwarden, do they still work on that or is it fake?

But the Americans don't. If you want to see Ospreys I would put my money on RIAT and not Leeuwarden

The USMarines confirmed a static Osprey for Leeuwarden, but sadly they cancelled it later on.

Final? It's still a couple of weeks out. Usually it is only final at the day the show starts....

I know a lot can change , also at the day of the airshow things change.
And it is only a couple of weeks so should be close to final.

A couple of days ago the commander of Leeuwarden Air Base still refused to confirm or deny whether the F-35 would actually fly during the show days...

Aan het einde van de bijeenkomst gaf de basiscommandant desgevraagd nog aan dat de JSF’s zichtbaar zijn voor publiek tijdens de open dagen.

Of dat in de lucht of op de grond zou zijn kon de commandant nu niets over zeggen. “Maar laat u verrassen”, aldus Denny Traas.

Luitenant Frank den Edel, hoofd van het team dat de overgang van F-16 naar JSF begeleidt, vertelt desgevraagd dat er bij de belevingsvluchten ook vescheidene tests worden uitgevoerd.

Bovendien zal het toestel voor het publiek te zien zijn op de open dagen van de Leeuwarder vliegbasis op 10 en 11 juni.
Of er dan mee gevlogen wordt, weet hij niet.
Den Edel hoopt van wel. „Maar dat is afhankelijk van hoe snel de banden slijten.
Onze landingsbanen zijn stroever dan die in de Verenigde Staten.
We hebben natuurlijk reservebanden meegenomen, maar of dat er genoeg zijn, moet blijken.”

Er is een commando overdracht op 10 juni gepland van de commandant van de luchtmacht en daarbij is altijd een flyby gepland, kan me niet voorstellen dat daar geen F35 bij zit

En wat betreft de deelnemerslijst, de KLu is altijd heel traag geweest met het updaten van hun website, dus er kan nog van alles bij komen wat nooit op de website zal staan.
Dus laat je gewoon verrassen

ik heb vanuit de organisatie gehoord dat er nog een aantal/ meerdere verassingen gepland staan, die echt pas op de dag zelf te zien zijn/vliegen. Denk dat het voor een gratis show al behoorlijk wat is wat er bekend is.
En waarom zou de luchtmacht niet vliegen met hun nieuwe materieel, als het tijdens de luchtmachtdagen gaat om werving
