It is still a shame Monino museum had to close for this.
Yep, all those old large (mostly unique!) airframes cannot be moved much anymore, let alone from the east of Moscow to the west!

where is this info based on ? the planes at the Patriot Parc are overhauld at Kubinka and have no connection to Monino so far i know !

Dino, is there are HDR in your photos? Or is it all natural?

It started as some rumour at UKAR quite some time ago, and appeared to be some misunderstanding of something said in Russian, heard by people that don't speak that language. What would be closed was something close to Monino, not Monino itself.

Not true, like Dino says.

On the Monino tank museum; they did move a part of the german hall to Park Patriot.
I think they will return tbh.

... Only 350 tanks left at communist museum!
