Some civilian counterweight to these fine military pictures. I am not about spectaculair pictures but are more interested in adding aicraft to my collection.
I cannot complain about the aicrat that appeared before my camera this year here are my highlights from various trips.

I went to the Dutch Antilles to see some old airliners from Venezuela

Aruba


The whole civilian spotter world went crazy with his special paint job.

Madrid is the place to see south American airliners. Cubana is the only airline that still flies the Ilyushin 96

TAM is a part of the new Latam group, only 3 A350's have been deliverd in TAM colors, the newer aircraft are Latam.

It's always nice when an airline does special promotions

A fair number of 747-8 jumbo's ended up as ultra bizz jets in the middle east, this one flies Qatari dignitaries around.

Sign of the future, we will be seeing more and more of these and I am not complaining.

I saw this little known airline from Russia's east in Seoul


Amakusa is an airline with 1 plane and up until now this was the only ATR in Japan, Japan Air Commuter is now getting them to.

What exactly do you mean by 'operational plan'? A map of where to go can be found on my website (http://www.katsudo.nl/aviation/?p=793).
A plan of when to go is not available. Just go, wait and get lucky (or not). I have never been disappointed yet, although I have only seen Chinooks each time.
