As far as i know the foreign aircraft also have an US serial... so 14-5108 to 14-5117 are assigned to the Italian, Norwegian, Japanese and Israeli aircraft.

Indeed international orders also have FY numbers. We know the Norwegian jets are 14-5110 and 14-5111. This leaves 14-5108/14-5109 and 14-5112 till 14-5117 open for Japan, Israel and Italy. If anyone get a confirmation on those serials, that would be great. Presumably (but that's pure guessing) the Italian ones will be 14-5108 and 14-5109. But the correct sequance of Israel and Japan is not known untill we have a confirmed serial on one of both countries.

Do you perhaps know what happend to AF-105, AF-106, AF-107 and AF-108? Can't seem to find any information on them.

In other news, VMFA-121 moved seven F-35Bs to MCAS Iwakuni last week. Four of them are:
  • 169168 VK-04
    169293 VK-07
    169294 VK-08
    169296 VK-10
Three more will follow soon. And six more later this year.

VFA-125 received their first four F-35Cs at NAS Lemoore yesterday, January 25:
  • 169030 NJ-400
    169031 NJ-401
    169032 NJ-402
    169035 NJ-403

AF-106 is with the 34th FS.

More news on FY numbers:

Italians are 14-5108/14-5109.
Israeli are 14-5112/14-5113 and Japanese 14-5114/14-5117.

As you all noted the last of that batch isn't 69-8704 but 79-8704 as it is delivered to them in 2017 apparantly.

Only one remaining LRIP VIII jet to be produced, being Italian AL-08 (14-5109)

LRIP10 contains:

44 F-35A for the U.S. Air Force
9 F-35B for the U.S. Marine Corps
2 F-35C for the U.S. Navy
3 F-35B for UK
6 F-35A for Norway
8 F-35A for Australia
2 F-35A for Turkey
4 F-35A for Japan
6 F-35A for Israel
6 F-35A for South Korea

Italy is missing but this is consistent with previous LRIPs since production takes place in Italy. Apparently these are added later.

Those are not necessarily first flights, but the first time they were photographed (as far as I could find). Most likely first flights though. (I posted that on F-16.net)
