Re: Paris air show 19-25 June 2017
The team is currently planning to accommodate around 150 aircraft and for a 2 hour flying display.
Among those expected are the Mitsubishi Regional Jet and Kawasaki P-1, both making their debuts at a European trade show.
Other types expected include the Embraer KC-390 airlifter.
Organizers say they have yet to formally receive a reply from the U.S. Department of Defense about a possible Paris debut of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
Officials said they were also unlikely to see attendance of Russian-built military aircraft because of sanctions against Moscow, although a Sukhoi Superjet regional airliner is likely to be present.
Public day displays by the Patrouille de France, will be shortened by 10 min. and restricted only to the team’s formation flying.
Operation of the two southern runways at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport is halted while the display team performs.

BEFOREHAND that some aircraft will not be there any more during the public days...
According to that list you will only see the
Antonov An-132D
all Bombardier pax jets (and prop)
Embraer KC390 military jet shoulder wing rear loading ramp transport
Lockheed C-130 L-100 civil
Pilatus prop aircraft
Sukhoi Superjet civil aircraft
during the trade days.
That is a lot of new aircraft that will depart from Le Bourget rather prematurely...

Hi,
During the show, this is always 03-21 runway used.
And because of CDG airport, aircraft are always landing in 03.
Usually you can take pictures from outside in the car park close to 03.
Regards

Hi Bruno,
Thank you, that sounds pretty good. The Scramble map also shows a spot in the nearby park.
Not yet mentioned in the airshow calendar is the Compiegne Aero Classic on 17-18 May, which is quite nice in my opinion.

So I'm thinking of combining it with a visit to the Salon.

A pair of Japan Navy Kawasaki P1 gone into U-Tapao this afternoon, the 5505 (Hex 87C81A) & 5508 (87C823). Think both for the Paris Show. thanks @TomMiliken
