Calm down, no panic
Possible cause: other flights already applied for diversion to Eindhoven before HV, and used up all available slots. That certainly happened to a number of flights today, albeit not necessarily in this setting.

Jock in NL, I have no clue on what information you based your reply. Fact was all our VOPs were taken with own (scheduled) aircraft. During the course of the afternoon we (ATC) received multiple calls from aircrew and other ATC agencies if we could accept diversions but sadly we couldn’t and had to turn them all down.
