Re: Frisian Flag 2018
Maybe a little early but are there some hot info/ rumours about this years participants?! (Beside those GAF Tiffies and NL F16)?!
Re: Frisian Flag 2018
I would just like confirmation that it is on so I can book my flights....read last year there would be no FF in 2018.

Compromise is failure.
Re: Frisian Flag 2018
According to a reliable source EC3 with M2000D is participating again
Re: Frisian Flag 2018
During a visit in august 2017 at Norvenich, our guide told us that the unit will be deployed with 8 aircraft to Leeuwarden in April. So expect (again) some german Eurofighters for FF.

Hi there, which lense is needed for taking shots at LWD, is 200mm enough? Thanks for any info.
Re: Frisian Flag 2018
Depends a bit on your style but about 70-300 should get you there. For a proper banking shot you're looking at 400m+heute wrote:Hi there, which lense is needed for taking shots at LWD, is 200mm enough? Thanks for any info.

Re: Frisian Flag 2018
that's a lot of French aircraft. Hope you are right.
Re: Frisian Flag 2018
Could be correct, there were talks about a large French participation some weeks ago.
Re: Frisian Flag 2018
USA will most probably participate with Oregan ANG F-15's.
