Need some info/help Málaga area (Spain)

Post by Triple R »

From april 24 till may 1, I will be in the Málaga area (Spain) and hope to spot some planes/helicopters (Mil./SAR/EMS/Gov./waterbombers/etc.). I’ve been looking around on the net, can’t find that much info :(
Has somebody info on finding spots or locations, wrecks and relics are also welcome
In the past you guys have been verry helpfull! I got some nice info in 2015 (before I went to Mallorca), was able to visit the last last “Splash In”. :respect: Hope again for some info/help..... :D

For W&R in Spain (mil & civ): http://www.spottingmode.com/wro/spain/
For airports (including heliports and stuff): http://www.spottingmode.com/airfields/spain/all/all/
Both can also be downloaded into a kmz file to make it easier to find the places near the spot you will be.

There is a good spot in Churriana with a view on the western runway and the military platform.

Thanks gents. The Mirage is not on the platform but it might be visible from the bend in the Calle del Escritor Béjar Zambrana. The F1 should be preserved in a little park, behind the sports fields but seems to be at least partially obstructed by trees/shrubs and buildings.. If I have time I'll have a quick peek next week and let you know here.
