Hi all,
anyone who has been there before can confirm? As for Google maps search it looks the full airshow will be backlit (sun in the face), is it correct?

That is correct, on the showgrounds you face the sun. AFAIK there's usually a bunch of people on the SW corner (outside) of the airfield.

You have indeed to be on the other side but you can make some great pictures there as the demonstrating aircraft turn virtually above you. I've made some pictures there in the previous year and pinpointed the exact location were these were taken: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jeroenbos/27194731437 You can park your car on the field of a local farmer who will show up at some time selling a ticket for something like 3 to 5 euros (I don't remember exactly).

That's right. You might want to be to be on time though, around 07.00 - 07.30 LT because the roads to that point can be closed down. At least, that was the case back in 2013. Last year I didn't notice the closure and saw people coming and going during the day. But just to be on the safe side, and also have a decent spot on one of both hills, be there in time.

Hi all

I've noticed that the tickets for this show are now on sale. They refer to a "Collector Ticket" @ 160PLN (approx 32GBP) - is this some form of spotter package? If so, does anyone know what it includes and whether they consider it value for money?

Any help/information will be greatly appreciated.

I can only see the standard tickets being sold at 10 PLN via e.bilet.pl , could you post the link to these " collector" tickets ?

Many thanks

Rgds,

Thanks Stefan.

Seems the collector ticket just includes a T-shirt, fun pack, coin and lanyard, no special access or anything like that.

Best regards

Speaking of the flypast....
What will be the base of origin for most of the flypast participants?

Thanks!

Cheers, Jan.

Speaking about the M-346, nothing is known yet whether they operate from homebase Deblin or they will be temporary based somewhere else (Minsk). The M-346 formation will consist of four aircraft. A similar formation can be seen over Warsaw in the middle of August.

Usually Radom (demo teams Orlik and Iskry), Deblin (helicopters and transports), Minsk (MiG-29s and Su-22s and in the past also the transports) and either Krzesiny or Lask (depending on which unit provides the F-16s - however, Lask might still be closed)
