Is it possible to spot helicopters on base from outside or is it possible to get at least near to the runway aproaches?

NH90's are all best viewed from 52° 2'47.02"N, 5°53'16.39"E. It's a 15 minute walk from the car park next to the Hoenderloose weg.
Runway approaches are very, very limited. Northern end is obscured by trees, southern end is somewhere midfield.

Apaches can be viewed from the Hoenderlooseweg near the museum, but quite distant. Chinooks are hidden at dispersals near runway 20. No views there.

Als ik het goed heb van zonsopgang tot zonsondergang op wegen en paden.Heeft het veteranenbos nog bepaalde openingstijden?
En dat laatste is wel een dingetje, want je moet natuurlijk van het pad af om bij het hek te komen.
Ik ben al weggestuurd door Duitse militairen.
Ze hebben natuurlijk formeel niets te zeggen, maar ze kunnen wel gaan klagen en dan weet ik niet hoe lang het goed gaat of er komt buiten het hek toezicht....

NH90 that departed was same one as arriving 40 min earlier. Should be 78+28, but unable to read because of distance. It refuelled mid-field, did not come close to the other NH90's. 79+02 was uncovered because it did a ground run in the morning.
