Leeuwarden was op de heenweg ook uitwijkhaven voor deze Hornets, maar aangezien het tanken achter de Duitse tanker goed ging zijn ze hier toen niet geland. En ik neem aan dat er morgen wel weer een Duitse tanker boven de Wadden zal hangen, Is dit niet zo dan is er een redelijke kans dat de Spanjaarden hier even komen tanken. Het wordt dus even afwachten

From what I heard no ground control point (ATC or Air Defence) is available for air refueling in Dutch airspace... that would be the reason for choosing Leeuwarden. Possibly they are still looking for an alternative...
