Re: Moron (LEMO) 2018
28/29Nov
We only saw 1 Eurofighter fly on our vist 29Nov, so unfortunately mainly codes, but we were surprised to find some high code numbers which matched their last two of the serial number. The sighting of code 11-35 causes a problem though as we also saw 11-14 which should be C.16-35. Anyway, below is what we saw, if its in brackets we didn't read it.
28/11/18
(CE.16-02) 11-71
(CE.16-05) 11-74
(CE.16-07) 11-76
(CE.16-09) 11-78
(C.16-22) 11-02
(C.16-25) 11-05
(C.16-27) 11-07
(C.16-30) 11-10
(C.16-35) 11-14
C.16-41 11-17 serial & code read off, ex 14-07
C.16-43 11-43 serial & code read off, ex 11-19
(C.16-52 (10001)) 11-22
(C.16-53 (10002)) 11-23
(C.16-54 (10003)) 11-24
(C.16-??) 11-35 as written above this causes confusion with 11-14
29/11/18
(C.16-55-10004) 11-55 serial assumed, if correct it is ex 11-26
C.16-63-10048 11-63 serial & code read off, ex 11-28
Any help to confirm/tie-up these serials would be appreciated!

I read elsewhere that the Ospreys have switched units rather than swap airframes detached here. Only one had received the new ES code, the special marks a/c remained unchanged, the other three had the "G" scrumbed off.

The KC-10, x2 KC-135's & all 5 MV-22's as above were still present.
Whilst here x2 MV-22's took off (ES09 & EG16) followed by the KC-130J

Hi Andy, great report, 168636 was noted at Rota 19th November from the starboard side wearing the new VMM-266 special marked tail, showing just the E code (G scrubbed out) and VMM-26?

Re: Moron (LEMO) 2018
11-14 Could possibly be EF2000T CE.16-14-10015 which was coded 11-81

C.16-54 11-54
C.16-57 11-57
C.16-63 11-63 Fin# 10148/9, probably 8
obviously some re-coding is underway.
There were no MV-22 present, which is probably a good thing as some serious earth moving is going on at the bottom of the track and at present it is not possible to turn left when you get to the fence.

Just a small correction. The 2 Stratotankers are KC-135R, not A.
