Re: Red Flag 19-1 players
RAAF 3sq stopped flying the Hornet in December 2017.
The ones noted at Nellis still have 3sq markings.
I am not sure, but think these aircraft are operated by 77sq or 2OCU. Or even split between these units.

There were a few flying around, with around a dozen in total on the ramp, but the others were all the usual ones.Great log! Did you read any of the other HH-60G's flying?

OK, thanks.
I've listed them with the markings they're carrying. 77 is the squadron listed for the exercise.

ADSB suggests three more T-38Cs may be at Nellis right now, 67-14955, 68-8119 & 68-8210

Re: Red Flag 19-1 players
According to a post on the Nellis Spotters FB page, 68-8119 was inbound on Friday, but the five that turned up were as listed! (with 68-8105 in the lead, which would suggest that one was pinging as 68-8119??!)Starman wrote:ADSB suggests three more T-38Cs may be at Nellis right now, 67-14955, 68-8119 & 68-8210

Re: Red Flag 19-1 players
T-38s look to be up again, 70-1954 is showing so that one’s actually correct (assuming it’s actually in that aircraft!)

Re: Red Flag 19-1 players
In the morning of Tuesday 29 January we were at Nellis, viewing the ramps in the morning. We were unable to read of the local based F-22's and F-35's. Anyone who was there that day and can provide me with these numbers? Much appreciated!
Thanks, Maurice.
Thanks, Maurice.

Re: Red Flag 19-1 players
Just a small remark on the big log (thanks for that). I wonder if the T-38s were flying for the Red Flag. I saw them flying last friday, hours before the Red Flag launch begin. So maybe they were there for another exercise ( Green Flag ???).

Re: Red Flag 19-1 players
In previous Red Flags they've been observed flying with Weapons School in the morning then the Red Flag day mission.ypenburg63 wrote:Just a small remark on the big log (thanks for that). Green Flag is a Close Air Support exercise at Ft Irwin, half way to LA. The ADSB traces showed them up in the Nellis ranges.

Re: Red Flag 19-1 players
But they did not fly with the Red Flag mission that day, only with the Weapons School aircraft, the Draken aircraft and a lot A-10 aircraft (Close Air Support?).
