Yuma (KNYL/YUM) 2019 MIL
Not as military as some might hope, but expect to see BAF634 here on February 13. She's an A330-300.

Re: Yuma (KNYL/YUM) 2019 MIL
Great list!! Thanks for sharing.
I can confirm VE-09 is at Yuma (CE-09 was not).
One addition was a UH-1Y coded ..52 under one of the most southern sheds, plus one more UH-1Y (unknown) on the ramp.
All the helicopters can be best read off just after sun rise because of the (back)light and heatwaves...

Re: Yuma (KNYL/YUM) 2019 MIL
Yuma Wednesday 24-4-2019 AM
Rwy 3L in use (and 8 for civ).
Almost no wind.
Northeastern apron used by helos and some Ospreys.
Central apron along the runway packed with Ospreys.
Southwestern apron has about 10 Hornets and 7 (K)C-130s.
Weather check at 7:30 wasn't an F5, as expected, but an Osprey.
All quiet till 838. Rescue helo 158554 departed north.
850 dep Super Stallion #16.
Found one of the last legal parking spots northeast of the base on S Avenue 3E, next to the Arizona supply house, on the outside curve of the RR track.
32.671606, -114.581139
933 dep Super Stallion.
Arrival of Osprey 8021 from VMM-263 North Carolina, special tail, approach rwy 26 to land on spot 3 on NE apron. Taxies to central apron. Rotors kept running dep again 1000.
945 dep 2x F35B.
957 dep 2x F35B.
1005 arr 2x T-45C, break overhead.
1020 arr 4x F5, break overhead. They landed at the other side of the field but taxied along 32nd Street. I could distinguish 1x a beige/brown camo #03?, 2x grey/blue camo (like #01,06,10 or 11?) and 1x yellow/green camo #07?.
1056 arr grey/blue agressor Hawker Hunter operated by ATAC (Airborne Tactical Advantage Company).
1053 2x F35B passed several times #168310 and gear down #168726 then landed vertically.
1106 dep 2x T-45C #167106 and #167104.
1110 dep 4x Agressor Tiger-II: F-5F #00 and F-5N #10,04,09. So not the same camo colors from the ones that landed earlier. These are 4 more F5 (!).
1112 dep rescue helo #158554
Moved to other side field for return of the F5s. Parked at the small irrigation canal east of the traffic lights.
1158 arr F-5N #04 brown and #09 grey on rwy 3L. Number 04 came in high and made a very steep dive to the runway.
The two other F5 did not return. They must operate from another field, like the four that arrived this morning?

Re: Yuma (KNYL/YUM) 2019 MIL
Yuma Wednesday 24-4-2019, continued, PM
After the F5-arrival, I heared a Herc starting up at the nearby southwestern platform. So I rushed back to the northwestern side of the field to get the take off from 03L.
1240 dep KC130 (maybe #BH5810 because it returned here later).
1245 dep KC130J #QD6763 (from MCAS Iwakuni, Japan).
1255 dep KC130J #QD8074 (from MCAS Iwakuni, Japan).
1335 dep 2x F35B.
1340 dep 3x Hawker Hunter in blue livery. No pics and also further unidentified, because I was just driving in the car under the runway as they launched
1344 dep 2x F35B.
Maybe this became a 4 (F35) vs 3 (F5) training mission?
Moved to the Sand dunes photo spot, east of start 03L.
1415 arr 2x T-45 #167090/245 and #167104/270.
1425 arr KC130 #BH5810.
1430 arr 2x F35B, first 2x t/g. These were #168725 #169590 both VFMA-122.
1440 dep 1x F35B.
1459 dep 2x F35B.
*Runway turned from 03 to 21*
1505 dep KC130 #BH5810.
1507 arr F35B.
Because rwy 21R is now steady in use (confirmed by ATIS, due to stronger wind than this morning), I hurried to the Fairgrounds to catch the arrivals there.
1515, 1528 and 1540 dep unknown jet from rwy 21R. Only audible. Two of these must have been the F5s that returned later.
1544 arr legacy F18 #163141 Silver eagles.
1554 arr F35B #169414, VMFA-211, tail shows "USS ESSEX".
1605 arr F5 #04 (brown/green).
1610 arr 2x F35B #169587 and 169588 both YVFA-211.
1612 dep F18 unc.
1625 arr F5 #09 (grey) after two t/g.
1641 dep F18 unc.
1650 dep 2x F35B.
1658 arr Harrier #165577.
1700 dep 1x F35B.
1703 arr KC130 #BH5810 (2nd time today).
1708 arr Harrier #165001 special tail (black).
1715 dep Super Stallion #09 from northeastern apron, straight to the north like yesterday afternoon.
Then things got quiet. Left the field 1745.
