Nellis Thursday 2-May-2019

Started at the speedway and then moved position to Cheyenne because aggressors were about to take off from 21R.

1645 arr civil airliner 21L.
1650 dep 4x F15 from 03L (so opposite direction as the expected F16s; F15 were on southeastern apron close to runway 03).
1655 dep 2x F35 and 2x F15 03L.

1658 dep 4x F16 aggressors: 84-0244 WA "44 red" blue camo
86-0291 WA "91 red" brown camo
86-0299 WA "99 red" green/brown camo
86-0280 WA dark silvergrey
21R break right

1700 dep 2x F16: 87-0321 WA grey "21 red" and 86-0271 WA blue camo.
21R break right

Moved to speedway gate 7-8

arr 2x F16 Break right, over speedway, land 21R.
They turned well before my position, so no shots.
Moved back to between gates 5-6 = perfect.

1734 arr 2x F16: 87-0321 (3 steep approaches) and 86-0271.
These had only been gone for half an hour. Break right, over speedway, land 21R.

1814 arr 1x F16: 86-0280 WA. Break right, over speedway, land 21R.

1815 arr 2x F15: 87-0202 MO, 88-0197 MO. Break left over the mountain land 21L.

82-0018 is an F-15C. Can anyone explain the MO tailcode?

In March 2019 this guy was still "WA". My guess is it's a typo...

In the end probably RF related as well. Today 4 Brasilian A-29s landed Nellis. With quite some support (C-130 and more), these might stay a while....

Lot of other stuff (Green Flag and wsint) present, among others 3 B-52s, 3 B-2s, 10 ID ANG A-10s and lot of others.

Cheers,
Oz
