Boeing Tabulation Numbers
Following the discussion on the last 737NG built for KLM in the KLM thread ("L/N 7542 (2), MSN 63624, tabulation number YV676, PH-BCL"), I was wondering if there is someone who knows where to find a listing of all Boeing tabulation numbers linked to MSN/LN's (especially the 737's) ? I am able to find snippets, but not complete listings. I have been looking for those for ages, but do not seem to be able to find them. Anyone?

Boeing Variable (of Tabulation) numbers zijn alleen te vinden in Boeing Documenten, deze kun je bijna nooit vinden op het internet , omdat het copyright protected door Boeing is.
In het SRM (Structural Repair Manual) van een bepaald type (bv. de 737NG) is aan het begin een cross reference list opgenomen met daarin opgenomen de line numbers, serial numbers, basic numbers, variable numbers en effectivity codes van alle geproduceerde en nog bestaande (not scrapped) toestellen van dat (sub)type.
Ik zal eens zoeken in mijn archief naar de tabulation numbers van de KLM/Transavia 737NG vloot.
Boeing Variable (of Tabulation) number :
- Is an indicator for a specific airframe including all options, selected by the customer.
- Mostly a number block is reserved for expected additional orders by the same customer.
- The larger the customer, the more numbers are blocked in advance.
- If the block is full ( more orders than original expected), a second block is created for that customer.
- The indicator is made up from two letters and three numbers.
- The first letter indicates the type of aircraft. (P= 737, Y = 737NG, R = 747, V =767, W=777, Z=787)
- The second letter indicates the submodel or further subdivision. ( A = 747-100, C = 747-8, etc.)
- These two letters are forming a variable block.
- The three numbers are the sequence in that block.
- Not all numbers within a variable block are actually build.

De tabnummers van de KL/HV/TO 737-700/800/900's heb ik allemaal. De Tabnummers van de BGD en BGE zijn inderdaad correct.Captain Ditch wrote:KLM 737NG's:
