Re: Airpower 2019 Zeltweg 6-7 September
Afternoon everyone
Does anyone know if there will be another round of spotter ticket sales? I tried last night, but just couldn't get on to the site.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Pete

Re: Airpower 2019 Zeltweg 6-7 September
Just as a hint, those are all private operated trains for the saturday! Another carrier from Vienna would be B&B Bluetrain (Expensive, luxury waggons): https://www.bb-bluetrain.at/de/fahrten/airpower.htmlW&R wrote:The train station is within walking distance of the airfield.Uni wrote:Hi all,
I'm planning to go to the Zeltweg this year and I'll not use car(s) this time.
Dose anyone tell me your recommended public transportation(trains and shuttle buses) to the show-site?
(I do not have any hotel reservations now.)
Thank you in advance.
Uni
but it looks you have to make a reservation for the train from Vienna/Wien.
http://regiobahn.at/event/airpower-2019/
But as said, those are the unofficial (private) trains!
Official train service going from Vienna: https://tickets.oebb.at/en/ticket
First train for Friday would be:
06:25 RJ + S8
2 h 32 min, 1 x change:
Knittelfeld Bahnhof
from Vienna to Zeltweg
08:57
€ 41,40

Next run for packages: 6th August 2019 at 20:00
Admission to AIRPOWER19 is of course still free. However, the best conditions for breathtaking photo and film shots are once again offered by the Spotter packages this year.

Instead of package and ticket information, I would prefer some intel about confirmed participants.
Looks like the "Airpower" website is designed for analphabets, showing just a number of pictures instead of a real list ...

Re: Airpower 2019 Zeltweg 6-7 September
That was a mistake by the organization on its FB page. They were talking about a Red Bull Su-25, but they meant the Su-29.
Such a small difference.

Re: Airpower 2019 Zeltweg 6-7 September
Ah ah ok it seems to me very strange talking about su 25...
Ok I think it is a great event but missing some interest flying planes like mig29 or su27 or anyway the Soviet part. Too many f16
Anyway I go there as usually till year 2000

Re: Airpower 2019 Zeltweg 6-7 September
We are staying at Moitzi campsite, do the display aircraft come near the campsite or is it too far away?
Thx in advance.

Re: Airpower 2019 Zeltweg 6-7 September
Talking with one of the Austrian AF photographers at the show on Friday , he said there would be no show next year and possible not for 3 more years , usual reasons quoted finance and personel shortages.
