Mugu - North Island - El Centro - Yuma // JAN-FEB2020
Anyone of you has any intel on possible detachments at the above mentioned airfields as off
mid january 2020; despite the Blue Angels and most probably VT-21/ VT-22 at El Centro?
Cheers

Don’t forget Miramar. AK Raptors and RCAF Hornets were there at the end of January 2019!

No its not. Not easy but possible. Park at Kearny Mesa Rd in the north east corner of Miramar. Than walk over along Kearny Villa Rd. And bring the DHS memo on public photography, a copy of the CIS survey of the area showing you Kearny Villa rd is indeed a public road, and tell the MP's, if they show up, to pound sand if they want to see ID.
I was asked to delete my pics from the above location in Dec 2018 but retrieved my pics at home. MP's told me it was federal property which is not true as of the 1950's as that was handed over to become an interstate in those days which later on was moved 0.5 miles to the east and is now known as I-15. Kearny Villa rd than became a county road. Great location all day long.
Not saying you wont be visited by MP's but if there is anything out there worth the hassle I'd say go for it. I noticed it wasn't until the shift change around 3'ish were someone called me in. The morning and leading up to 3'ish I was never bothered. Kearny Villa Rd is used by cars and cyclists all day long. No signs are up that it is federal property so as said they can pound sand.
Tally.
Some data to review and bring perhaps.

Lake Havusa had some Canadian T-6's last year.
No idea about this year.

This topic goes a bit out of control
But read that at the moment AK 22s, Yuma 35s and Fort Worth 18s are currently at Miramar for exercise.

At least 14 AK F-22s at Miramar. There are usually a few spotters in CA/AZ in January/February so hopefully they start reporting back with numbers

The AK Raptors were still at Miramar as of this afternoon. NASA927 (RB-57) has been at Miramar for a few days (haven't seen it, but flightaware has been listing daily flights). Kalitta brought in a 747 from Wuhan, Miramar is one of the US quarantine sites so there may be more flights like this in the future.
