Hi guys, have just spent the day at Payerne in some lovely sunshine hoping for some F5 action, but there were no F5 moves. Plenty of Hornet activity.
Believe the base flying on Monday’s are night flying?
Does anyone know of much F5 activity at Payerne this week?
Regards,
Mark.

Unfortunately there are many days without any F5 movements at Payerne nowadays.

That’s not great. What’s the reason?LHAspotter wrote:Unfortunately there are many days without any F5 movements at Payerne nowadays.
Would Emmen be the same?

The reason: There aren't many F-5s left in Swiss service...

Majority of Tiger flying is done from Emmen these days. Still 22 F-5Es and 4 Fs left in active service, equipping 2 service staffels and Patrouille Suisse.Lossie15 wrote:That’s not great. Re: Mil: Payerne F5 question
Visited Emmen yesterday, flightsheds contained two F-5s (of which one in PdS colours).
Three sheds were open, 2 sheds contained a PC-21.
So probably some F-5 activity at Emmen...
