Hurghada spotting

Post by TD73 »

Today on the beach at Hurghada.
I saw 1 Sea King, 1 Beech 200 and 3 Havocs.
I tried to read the Havocs with my minocolairs, but then a egyptian woman told me it's not allowed. Is that correct?
Then I heard someone talking about "maffia" on the 28th on Hurghada? Is that an exercise?

If you're on the beach then I would say it's got nothing to do with the Egyptian woman! If you were stood at the fence at the airport then things would be different lol!

Mi-28 Havocs would be unlikely. Do you mean Ka-52 Alligators or AH-64 Apaches perhaps? Two weeks ago a nationwide exercise called "Kader" was held in Egypt.

Checked it, then it was the Ka-52, double rotorblades. Saw 5 off them this week.
Someone from the hotel informed me there is a excercise area near Safaga and they train there a lot with militairy from other countries also.
