In april the decision will be made if the tiger meet will be postponed after july or cancelled.

Tigermeet Beja is now planned from 6.-17.7.

From info received, the NTM is planned from 5 through 16 july. Spotters days on the 9th and 15th, airshow on the 12th.

Dear Spotter,


Considering the most recent epidemiological evolution COVID-19 and the projection that it may remain active until end of May - the Portuguese Air Force has decided to postpone the NTM20 to July time-frame.


The new dates for NTM20 will be from 05JUL20 to 17JUL20.


With this decision we are only postponing the event dates, all activities that were planned will be activated on the same days of the week. Therefore, the new dates for the most important events will be:

- Air Festival will be held on 12JUL20.

- The two days of Spotters will be, respectively, 09JUL20 and 15JUL20.


Regarding the two Spotters days:

- The registrations made so far are considered valid.

- Registrations made for the 14th of May will be carryover the 09th of July and for the 20th of May to the 15th of July, respectively.

- To request changes or cancellations of registration already validated, an email should be sent to ntm20_spotter@emfa.pt.

- The Portuguese Air Force is concerned with the impact and implications of this decision (e.g. acquisition of airline tickets), but given the current situation, we appeal to Spotter’s understanding.


The Portuguese Air Force will continue resisting without giving up, the scourge COVID-19.

Today April 23rd, 2020 a decision was made to Cancel NTM2020.

31 Esquadra, and the PoAF will now host NATO Tiger meet (NTM) 2021 in Beja in May 2021
NTM 2021 that was already being planned by 31 Sqn and The Belgian Air Force for September will also still go ahead.
Only The May 2021 event will cary the title NATO Tiger Meet, the September event will host the official events to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of The NATO Tiger Association.
The 5 year plan (a commitment plan to host a tiger meet) will continue after 2021 as originally planned.

It has been a difficult time for all, and this was the only decision that could be made to ensure the safety of our Community.
The NTA says thanks to the Chief of Staff of both the Portugees and Belgian Air Forces to show their flexibility and commitment to our training and community.
