Greets,
So that's the first of 20 B's in FY2018 LRIP 12?
Only 17 buno's 'fit' between 169684 and 169702 (1st C of LRIP 11)

Order for five F-35A and one F-35B in LRIP XIV
https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/italy-p ... 8-million/

According to my knowledge, the F-35As are AL-22/AL-26 and the F-35B is BL-06

No, the first B of Lot 12 was 169680 (BF-95).
169702 wasn't the first C of Lot 11 either, that was 169631 (CF-36). It was the first of the additional 4 added to Lot 11.

Those Italians keep bugging us. Thought these were going to be AL-17 till AL-21 then and BL-07. How many A dn B-models of the Italians are included in Lots 12 and 13 then?

Greets,
Italians are not keen on "large" orders. The "overview" I have, after the correction from Starfighter_F-104G, is:

LRIP VI (FY12)
AL-01, AL-02, AL-03

LRIP VII (FY13)
AL-04, AL-05, AL-06

LRIP VIII (FY14)
AL-07, AL-08

LRIP IX (FY15)
AL-09
BL-01

LRIP X (FY16)
AL-10
BL-02

LRIP XI (FY17)
AL-11, AL-12

LRIP XII (FY18)
AL-13
BL-03

LRIP XIII (FY19)
AL-14, AL-15, AL-16, AL-17
BL-04, BL-05

LRIP XIV (FY20)
AL-18, AL-19, AL-20, AL-21, AL-22
BL-06
