With these airframes, the words "correct id" take on a completely new meaning...Gerard wrote:Freedar.uk showed the correct id 02-5001 (ADS-B: 99-4163)

Re: The 'black' USAF C-32Bs
At ADSBexchange the hexcode-tieups changed from correct to wrong some time ago. AE0433 has always been 02-5001 and AE0446 has always been 99-6143 in real life. I have posted it on their forum but it has not been changed so far.

Inb Mildenhall. Was just up trying to contact Mildenhall CP on both 313.550 and 300.800 (and atc wise 125.005 -> 132.205 -> 1281.60 -> 135.425, Idesi-Lapra and in the descent)Melchior Timmers wrote:AE0433 /02-5001 showing ETAR to CONUS again (now above Belgium)

Re: The 'black' USAF C-32Bs
There's something going wrong here. AE0443/ 09001 flew Ramstein Mildenhall this morning, not AE0433. AE0433/ 25001 flew Ramstein Conus yesterday.
Re: The 'black' USAF C-32Bs
Ah, thanks. Then they were wrong in my database as well.n5205e00421 wrote:At ADSBexchange the hexcode-tieups changed from correct to wrong some time ago. Re: The 'black' USAF C-32Bs
At least the hexcodes seemed to always have been consistent with the same serials:
AE0433 = (0)2-5001
AE0438 = (9)8-6006 (last picked up 8/5/2018)
AE0443 = (0)0-9001
AE0446 = (9)9-6143
AE0449 = (0)2-4452
Having both 433 and 443 doesn't help here. ADSBexchange had them all right before, now AE0433 shows 99-6143 and AE0446 is unknown.
By changing hexcodes and dates in the URL you can see a hexcode's flights of one day:
As mentioned before AE0443 / (0)0-9001 flew back 01/08 via Mildenhall:
https://tar1090.adsbexchange.com/?icao= ... 2020-08-01
And indeed AE0433 / (0)2-5001 flew back to the USA on 31/07:
https://tar1090.adsbexchange.com/?icao= ... 2020-07-31
Clicking back some days shows a gap until 25/07 where it was still in the USA btw.

Re: The 'black' USAF C-32Bs
An aircraft does not transmit its serial/registration on Mode-S/ADS-B, only its hexcode. It is up to a receiver or website to show the correct serial for that hexcode. ADSB-exchange had it wrong in its database here. E.g. Planefinder just showed 99-6143 correctly for hexcode AE0446..Rabbit wrote:But not with te correct serial on adsb. Adsb showed 99-6143

Re: The 'black' USAF C-32Bs
So how many of these are flying around actually??
According to Scramble DB there are five different serials:
98-6006
99-6143
00-9001
02-4452
02-5001
and only two different c/n’s:
25493/523
25494/611
We all know they have been changing serials a lot in the past.
But if I read the posts above correctly:
00-9001 and 02-5001 were noted at Ramstein yesterday and that same moment 99-6143 was noted flying over the US.
That makes three... so again my question how many of these birds are flying around. Or maybe we will never know.

Re: The 'black' USAF C-32Bs
The theory still fits with four frames, the fourth being 02-4452 that flew Ramstein-STR-USA on 27/7 followed by local training at McGuire.
Short version:
McGuire-based:
00-9001 c/n 25494
02-4452 c/n 25493 Reported as temporarily regd 98-6006 before 2002. No pics online though.
Eglin-based:
N226G c/n 25491, 13+17(L) windows, big scuff plates below doors
N610G c/n 29304, 12+19(L) windows, small scuff plates below doors
These two frames have both used serials 99-6143 and 02-5001 interchangably on militairy missions until 2013.
Thereafter 99-6143 was always N226G, re-used serial 98-6006 was always N610G, and 02-5001 was still used on both frames.
As of may 2018 98-6006 disappeared, 99-6143 was always N226G, and 02-5001 was always N610G.
See previous page for external differences.
