Thanks again for the updates, 3 F-16's returned from maintenance (J-632, J-144, J-017) and another 4 took there place (J-509, 514, 515, 508).

Special attention to the J-062, which was brought to LCW in August 2019 by trailer. It seems that preparing this airframe for operational use again is more of a challenge then expected. As it is more than a year in maintenance I suggest to remove it from the list of operational F-16's, I hope to be proven wrong.

The withdrawal of F-16's from Leeuwarden continued with the J-135 joining the Volkel pool on October 12.

This leaves an active fleet of 54 airframes, please find below the October 2020 list with the updates in red:

I know, but she was never (as far as I am aware) slated to be withdrawn. She lost her airworty certificate, and I believe a lot of set backs during her stay at Woensdrecht. Took a lot of time, she was canibalized as well for other F-16's back then at Volkel. From memory it started with corrosion in the air intake.

3 F-16's returned from maintenance (J-201,021,063) and another 4 took there place (J-014,003,015,011).

Again special attention for the J-062, which is at the LCW in Woensdrecht since August 2019. It made its first flight in more than 5 years on 23 November 2020, the test flight was originally planned for 13 November 2020 but was aborted during start-up. Let's see if it will be delivered back to active service, until then I will leave it out of the list.

Although it was planned that the J-135 would join the Volkel pool it was decided that the maintenance needed was not economical for the remaining flight hours left on the airframe and was taken out of service.

During 2021 flying operations with the F-16 in the Netherlands will be reduced to one squadron (312sq at Volkel) as 313sq will stop flying the F-16 at the end of 2020 and 322sq is planned to reach IOC with the F-35 during 2021.

This leaves an active fleet of 53 airframes, please find below the November 2020 list with the updates in red:

The J-644 returned to Leeuwarden from maintenance at SABCA on December 17 and the J-367 took it's place on December 2.

On December 18, 313sq flew the last missions with their F-16's, their airframes stay on Volkel and are tranferred to 312sq. As a consequence the amount of airframes for 312sq increased to 31, let's see which ones remain operational in 2021. It is planned that the remaining F-16's from Leeuwarden will be transferred to 312sq as well in the summer of 2021.

The J-062 was delivered back to Volkel on December 4 and flew some missions already in the last weeks of the year. This leaves an active fleet of 54 airframes, which is already below the amount of 55 operational airframes for 2021 from the transition planning.

Many thanks for the updates, January 2021 brought quite some changes:

It was confirmed that 322sq will stop flying the F-16 per July 2021.

The J-197 returned to Volkel without any markings from maintenance at OGMA on January 7 and the J-146 took it's place the day earlier. The LCW at Woensdrecht delivered the J-514 back to Volkel on January 26 and the J-016 taking the opposite route the same day.

The J-009 and J-616 flew their last missions on January 18 and are now stored at Volkel. The J-061 will soon join them as it arrived from Leeuwarden on January 28, but should still have some flying hours left for 312sq to use.

This leaves an active fleet of 52 airframes, with 27 airframes of the 42 airframes in the Netherlands already flown in the first month. No sightings yet from Tucson.
