All very valid points. Perhaps they are referred to as 'LOT' from 12 onwards because it's easier to list them that way than to change all of the paperwork etc?

Increases the educational capacity of Luke
Three additional F-35s from Ørland Airport will be stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, USA, to increase the training capacity of Norwegian fighter pilots until the autumn of 2023.

Norway has so far received a total of 28 aircraft from Lockheed Martin. Another six aircraft will be delivered each year until 2024, divided into two annual deliveries with three aircraft in each. The Air Force is well on its way to phasing in the F-35 and will, through this measure, ensure sufficient pilot competence on the F-35.

The first seven Norwegian F-35 aircraft produced in the period 2015 to 2017 were sent to Luke Air Force Base (AFB) to convert pilots from F-16 to F-35. Until the autumn of 2023, a total of ten Norwegian aircraft will be stationed at Luke to ensure the necessary training and conversion of F-35 pilots.

These 3 arrived yesterday at Luke supported by KC-10 Blue81, serial5292 is one of them.
