Boeing delivers 14th CH-47 Chinook built for Royal Netherlands Air Force

[*]The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) has taken delivery of its 14th CH-47F Chinook helicopter from Boeing, according to a recent service news release.

“Another nice step towards a modernized air force. The new Chinooks are on the way. Please be patient, 2021 in NL,” RNLAF said on its Twitter account.

Hi all,

Update to my earlier messages. Boeing completed delivery of the first batch of 14 new CH-47F MYII CAAS helicopters to the RNLAF. The second batch of six so-called 'renew' helicopters (using components of the old CH-47Fs) are to follow.

Additions to the earlier lists:
D-481 (M7481 / 16-07481) d/d 25-08-20
D-482 (M7482 / 16-07482) d/d 01-09-20
D-483 (M7483 / 16-07483) d/d 28-10-20
D-484 (M7484 / 17-07484) d/d 30-10-20
D-485 (M7485 / 17-07485) d/d 30-11-20

D-474, 475, 476 and 477 have been delivered to the Ft Hood based 302 Squadron. All other 10 helicopters are with SES International and the first aircraft for 298 Squadron will be expected in Gilze-Rijen early 2021.

IT made a groundrun.. thats was not a succes... Maybe not a second ground run at all today...
