From the 1st of May, KLM will start a 3x weekly service from Amsterdam to Hangzhou.
No information yet about equipment and days of ops.

There is still time enough for an announcent if the servie will start this summer.

Starting 28 March 2010, easyJet is planning to re-introduce a 2x/daily frequency on EDI-AMS-EDI:

- dep. EDI 07.25 - arr. AMS 09.55
- dep. AMS 10.20 - arr. EDI 10.50

- dep. EDI 16.50 - arr. AMS 19.20
- dep. AMS 21.30 - arr. EDI 22.00

This route used to be operated 2x daily in 2007.

- AMS dep. 14:40 - PVG arr. 08:05 KL 0893 B747-400M Non-Stop - 5x/week until 27 March
- AMS dep. 17:30 - PVG arr. 10:55 KL 0895 B747-400M Non-Stop - daily until 27 March

- AMS dep. 18:25 - arr. PVG 10:55 KL 0895 B747-400M Non-Stop - daily Summer 2010
- AMS dep. 21:15 - arr. PVG 13:45 KL 0893 B747-400M Non-Stop - 5x/week Summer 2010


KLM's new route to Hangzhou will be operated 3x/weekly with B777-200ER. Hangzhou lies just 180km south of Shanghai.

There are early indications - not yet confirmed - that BMIbaby will re-introduce B737-300 service between Cardiff-AMS-CWL and will open a new route Aberdeen-AMS-ABZ.

This could be achieved with a "w" flight operation CWL-AMS-ABZ-AMS-CWL.

BMIbaby used to operate CWL-AMS-CWL 4x/weekly in 2007 on Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun.

DL174/175 1445-1720lt only between 03jun-31aug. Daily except Tuesdays.

Is there anything known about the summer schedule of JAL?
Because with all the financial problems for this airline i'm a bit
scary for the comming summer (they also cut a few intercontinental
flight last year). If i'm going to fly to Japan this summer it could
be nice to fly with this beautiful airline.

It's mentioned already, just a few messages up.
Operation will continue on a daily basis throughout the summer. Best fares can be booked directly with JAL online.

About the financial status; believe me that the Japanese government will never let the airline go bankrupt. There might come dramatic changes but you're save to book. Even in case termination of the AMS services at some point, the airline will take care for your re-routing via LHR/FRA or CDG or rebooking on another 'partner airline' (maybe KLM in the near future).
