NATO Tiger Meet 2011 Cambrai
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Only one of the 1052 photos I took. My first Tigre. Isn't it ugly?

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2011 Cambrai
Sunday, the arrival of the Patrouille. Strange light.
And a Mirage landing.
Monday, taken with 1/80 sec (by accident)
Tuesday, finally sun!
The Italians made a very low approach, trying to scare us!

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2011 Cambrai
@slijffie: apart from the beautiful panning shot : would it be possible to post pictures of Alpha Jets "2" and "8" of the Patrouille de France? There's a bit of uncertainty in the "Cambrai overview" section over the correct i/d of these two birds... and as you seem to have 'shot' them from the correct side, they can be identified by both the nosewheel-door and the radio-callsign near the speedbrakes; that SHOULD do the trick!

The bad weather has less influence on B&W shots (this one is from last monday) :
I did not know pilots are allowed to wear glasses :
