So either the 'original' 916 will be reserialled or this one. Let's see what their passage at Lajes gives.

Arrival at LLNV last June. I can't imagine the stencils dept are allowed near these 'planes once the squadron badge is applied, so look forward to some more shots from Texas!

11 first flights in October 2018. To my knowledge a record in the F-35 production history. Lets see if they can beat that in November.

AW-04 18-004 delivered to Luke AFB November 1, 2018.

AW-06 18-006 first flight November 1, 2018.
AF-173 15-5198 first flight November 1, 2018.

For the Canadian fighter competition, the Dassault Rafale just dropped out.

So the shortlist is now down to four types: F-35A, F/A-18E/F, Typhoon, JAS-39E/F Gripen.

The Belgian defense secretary has published the delivery schedule of the Belgian F-35s. The first 4 will be delivered in late 2023 with another 4 in 2024. Those 8 will be stationed at Luke AFB for training purposes until 2028. In 2025/2026/2027 another 4 jets will be delivered, in 2028/2029 another 5 and in 2030 the last 4 of the order.

Greets,
Will the Belgian F-35s be built at the FACO Cameri production line?

I presume they will yes. Although it might well be that the first ones come from Fort Worth since they will stay in the US for the first 5 years.
