Re: TLP 2009-1 Logs
i saw 5 Tornado's on the left side off the Phantoms, who has read them today(28-01-2009)patrick dirksen wrote:Very frustrating indeed....
A few changes took place today. EF-18 C.15-46/12-04 arrived, and was put on the flightline together with already present 12-23. No sign of 12-03 that had flown a mission yesterday!
Tonka 43+72 left, probably going home, and was replaced soon after by 44+80 of AG51.
Also arrived early in the morning was an Italian F-16B, no id known unfortunately.
Around 11-ish Polish Viper 4055 was put in the hangar (on the left hand side), just a bit earlier a German Tonka did the same. Did someone read this one off please?
To recap: on the flightline were:
-2x Mir.2000
-2X Mirage F.1
-2x AMX (one with special tail)
-5x F-16A Italy
-1x F-16B Italy
-2x EF-18 (12-04, 12-23)
-5x Tornado (oa 44+80)
-4x F-4F (oa 38+44)
-3x F-15 (306, 331, 602)

Re: TLP 2009-1 Logs
Thanks for the log, that confirms some of the aircraft we saw on the line last Tuesday, when the mission was cancelled. One problem is the French Mirage F.1 260/30-QB, this has not been reported before. Someone who knows wehn this arrived? And how many F.1's were present, two or three?
Did you id aircraft that were left behind on the flightline by the way?

As forecasted, weather conditions in whole Belgium were extraordinary good and the TLP mass-launch and recoveries of more than 20 partcipating aircraft could be enjoyed in brilliant sunshine. Luckily, all “new” aircraft for me where also flying – the third Polish F-16, two additional F-4Fs and two new Italian F-16s, two changed Tornados and another Mirage F.1. A visiting Spanish C-130 was very welcome too, while flying of five based F-16s was on the more usual side. A little nice add-on was the return of five fully equipped F-16s - including two recce-equipped examples – from exercise “Deployed Falcon” at Beauvechain. What a day!)
