That was in the link provided in the article reffering to the similar LAAS program.
So technically regarding the OV-10 is is of topic, since this was about the Super Tucano.
Nevertheless, the sercive the OV-10 provides can be done by the Textron AirLand Scorpion and/or the Archangel (previous AT-802U)

This article now suggests the Bronco test in Syria was not so much about the Bronco, but about the combination of a slow mover with a specific missile system called "Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS)". If true, it may not mean success will bring the Bronco back, rather a slow mover in general.

Time will tell again...

That's also what I've read in a recent article on the War Zone. The whole idea was to prove the concept and with an ultra high readiness and kill ratio that has been accomplished. Boeing is only willing to start producing Bronco's again if over 100 will be ordered, so don't expect brand new Bronco's but a different platform (perhaps AT-6) with the same sensor package.
