Saturday 17th saw a visit from OTIS 85 identified elsewhere as USMC KC-130J 168071.
Re: Souda Bay 2021 - MIL
Sunday 18th, had to do some tourist stuff but was woken early by an Aries which those jolly nice chaps at FR24 informed me was 160410.
Re: Souda Bay 2021 - MIL
RC-135V 63-9792/OF roared off at 07.30 this morning (as RESET11).
Somewhat later the 115th CW Vipers flew in reasonable but unreadable numbers.

Or even 161410, which until I bumped into it at Mildenhall at early o'clock on a QTR waiting for delayed fuglies to depart Lakenheath 4 years ago was my last EP-3E.
160410 is this beast,

Dxxn sticky keyboard!
C-130H 751 visited this morning before the usual Viper scramble, & HKY678 (allegedly 06-8611) just held short while seven more/equally anonymous Vipers blasted out.
Noted on deck this afternoon were the two EP-3Es marked 325 & 410 respectively, the RC-135, six SC F-16s (reported as 92-3902/3905/3911/3917 and 93-0533/0551 - thanks Bob) a Do-328/C-146 & a UC-35 (open to sensible offers for those).

Re: Souda Bay 2021 - MIL
2 RC-135s currently present here, 1 is 62-126/OF, the 2nd one eluded me so far. The ARIES II detachment consists of 157325 in full color VQ-1 markings. Also a black(ish) Gulfstream and C-146A. A USN C-130T, V-22 and C-40 visited as well today, all departing towards the SE.
More updates will follow next few days if and when I have time to pass by. The Osprey seemed to be a USN bird (CMV-22B); are these already deployed outside CONUS or as COD? Then there should be a carrier in the area. Hopefully it will visit again but they don't show on ADS-B, so cannot plan the race to the approach..

Re: Souda Bay 2021 - MIL
One COD Osprey visited Singapore some time ago. Not sure if they are deployed to the 6th fleet allready? The certainly look different than the USMC versions though

Re: Souda Bay 2021 - MIL
AFAIK only three CMV-22B's are deployed outside CONUS and all are embarked on CVN-70 which is in the 7th Fleet, far away from Souda.
Further to this: LHD 7 Iwo Jima transited the Suez Canal yesterday and is home-bound. If you saw a MV-22 it might be one of them.
