Hi there..
Never been to sanicole, maybe this year will be my first time..
Are the participating aircrafts will be flying from sanicole itself, or are they staying at Kleine Brogel?
Anyone some information about this??
Thanx in advance!!
Greetz!

Most participants are stationed at Kleine Brogel for the show, most exceptions to this are helicopters and the occasional small aerobatic aircraft. RJF also use KB.

The Red Arrows alone are reason for me to go there. So maybe i'll see some fellow scramblers there, though it's still a few months away.

Hi
I will be attending this airshow for the first time this year and I have a few questions I hope you can help me with.
1. Will we have the sun in our back or in the face?
2. Can some one give me an adress for the airfield for my GPS?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards
Jonas

Jonas,
I think you can use:
Kamperbaan (street)
Hechtel (Town)
This is in the neighbourhood of the airfield, when you drive to that location there are signs which will lead you to the parkingplace.

i think the Hunter isn't going to preform anymore due to the bird hit on the RNLAF opendays last saturday...

I've been at Sanicole once, a couple of years ago.
A very nice show with for example a Harrier take-off a couple of meters in front of you and a very nice display of a yellow Tornado.
It was very hot that day and very sunny.
Two minors: allmost impossible to take a good picture with the sun in front of you and don't forget to take some money. We had to pay than 15 euro's.
You can park your car about 50 meters out of the gate.

The large fixed wing aircraft will operate from nearby Kleine Brogel. you can watch them for free, and with (most of the time)the sun in your back

The airfield is just halfway Leopoldsburg and Hechtel, only one straight road, so can't be a problem.....
