Where on this map is the spotters area? The black arrow is fence for "normal" visitors, spotters get nearer. But to where? :idea: :?:
Hope that at least they will not leave the spotters for the arrivals 400mm away from the touch down!!Otherwise its useless still very far!!

This picture shows the distance at touchdown, it's 420mm (300+1.4x) on a 20D

Ok, that's senseless to be honest. Is this the spot you remember at the blue arrow?

I have found the original map we got during the 2007 show. The pink area shows the press area. It's more or less the same spot as the blue arrow...

Unfortunately, Scramble doesn't organise any tours anymore for some years.

I haven't heard from the usual organizations. This might change if expectations turn out to be real.
Better check the sites given by Hans (http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic. ... n&start=12" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) for any changes!

Radom airshow Poland.

Post by WireFox »

Hi,

Any idea how long it would take to travel from Wraclaw to Radom by road/motorway ? 2 hours or less ? And will there be on site parking or shuttle-buses from the town centre or not ?
Any tourist info travel-wise would be of help, thank you.

Would expect more like 5 hours than 2, also note that will be very last weekend of vacation in Poland so there may quite a bit of traffic and unfortunately we don't have a lot of motorways yet ;-)
Two years ago there were shuttle buses from parking lots in town centre.
Also - check to see if there is any accommodation available - most of hotels get booked by organizers for the participants and there's not that many of the in Radom...

If
http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic. ... 3&start=50" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is correct some rather interesting participants have been dropped off "the list"... :cry:
GB
o „Red Arrows”
* Finland
o „Midnight Hawks”
* France:
o Rafale
o Alpha Jet
* Belarus:
o Su-27
o Su-24
o Ił-76
* Czech Republic:
o Jas-39 Gripen
o L-159
* Holland:
o F-16
* Greece:
o Mirage 2000
* Belgium:
o F-16AM
* Germanu and Austria also confirmed their participation. The negotiations continue.

PLAF:

* "Biało-Czerwone Iskry": TS-11 ISKRA
* "Orlik" team: PZL 130 ORLIK
* PZL SW-4 PUSZCZYK
And a special attraction: simulated dogfight between two F-16s and two MiG-29s

Reflections: no MiG-21 from Romania, no T-50 from Korea and no solo display of Polish MiG-29, F-16 and (especially) Su-22 is a dissapointment. On the other hand, Belgium, Austria and especially Greece with Mirage is a huge in favor! We'll see how the show will shape up eventually...
