Thanks for your very helpful log, Thunderbolt! But excuse me, 78-0648 must be a typo. In fact, it's 78-0684 (marked 354 FS/CC). For an official USAF picture please check: http://www.kdab.afcent.af.mil/shared/me ... 1L-039.JPG" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Deployed with the 354th EFS for OEF were the following twelve A-10Cs:
78-0684 (marked 354 FS/CC), 78-0709 (still without new unit markings), 79-0202, 80-0142, 80-0150, 80-0155 (still without new unit markings), 80-0179, 80-0280, 80-0246 (still without new unit markings), 81-0948, 81-0950, 82-0663.

Questions: Was 78-0709 not logged by you at Lajes on their return? On which dates the twelve 354th EFS Hogs arrived and departed Lajes on their way back home to CONUS?

BTW: According to 355th FW PA, the 12 deployed A-10Cs will return to Davis-Monthan AFB on Saturday, January 23, 2010, at a time to-be-determined. See: http://www.dm.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123186294" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hope that helps

Many thanks for your latest update, Dutchmil!

Please check: http://warthognews.blogspot.com/2010/01 ... gs-to.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And so I hope, Warthog News contributors James O'Rear and Ned Harris would take some nice arrival shots for the A-10 history books...
