how is the situation outside the base? thinking of going to B-Koks during the arrival day....... any experiences?!
http://www.scramble.nl/airports/index.html has an airfield guide. Picture of the Hungarian MiG-29 was taken around the airshow. Both spot 2 and 4 are good for photography.

Looks good indeed....

But I'm pretty sure the PC-9 is not taken at spot 2.
I think its spot 4, otherwise you would be facing the sun.

Best regards Rob.

Thx for the link, i've already checked it. But nevertheless a question is, what's about the situation outside during the arrival days!? will the spot's be closed, like for example in the netherlands a few years ago, or am i able to go there without any problems!?!?

thx

In case you still need this information I can give you advice via pm or personal talk.
My personal experiences in the last ten years where very good and relaxed during arrival days. All of the spots could be reached withour any problems ...
I will be there too and we could also do a joint trip ...

From belgian-wings.be:

Main attraction will be the presence of 8 aerobatic teams many of which of world class such as the USAF "Thunderbirds", France's "Patrouille de France", the RAF "Red Arrows", the "Turkish Stars", the "Saudi Hawks" and of course also our own "Red Devils". The near future of the Belgian Air Force will be illustrated by the presence of the Airbus Military A400M transporter and the NH90 helicopter (the first Belgian machine which is to arrive at Koksijde airbase in October 2012)

New to the show will be a massive coastal fly by including most of the airshow participants between the coastal resorts of Knokke and Koksijde. This exiting event will take place as of 18h00 on Tuesday July 5th, 2011

Looks promising :D

The 5th, in that case show participants could arrive before the 6th, as mentioned earlier on some boards.
Isn't it ?
