Could't find Retro12 on SBS...

I heard on my Scanner Retro12,but SBS Boven-Pekela says Baron12 so a mistake it was Retro12.

I heard that Wittmund will be closed for a few weeks in May for repairs. Is that true? Maybe somebody has a more accurate report of when it will be closed. It will save me the disappointment when driving over there and see no activity!

Does this mean less to no flying (only scrambles and scheduled traffic) between 2-apr-2012 06:00h and 10-apr-2012 06:00h??

Seems like it. Which is also understandable, as it is a popular holiday-week in Germany. So this al probably has to do with many personnel on holiday this week.

No, it means no flying every evening between 16.00 and 8.00 local and no flying on friday

It means that Wittmund has normal flight OPS this week: opening times tuesday till thursday 0800-1600LT (0600Z-1400Z) and is closed from Thursday 5 April 16:00LT until Tuesday 10 April 08:00LT.

subscription forms to attend the spottersday are since yesterday available on www.luftwaffe.de!
It gives some difficulty to fill in the form directly. I printed it. filled it with a pen and via scan mailed it to the site mentioned on the form!

To fill in the form on your pc you need a pdf editor with the typewriter tool like adobe acrobat, nitro pdf professional or pdf xchange viewer, but these programs are not for free, though you could download them from thepiratebay.

Another (free) option is to open the form in gimp, add text, save as jpg and convert the file back to pdf with a program like faststone's image viewer.
